I'm Gloria and the author of this book. I used to dread wrapping gifts. I'd throw some paper around a box and slap a bow on top. It was just a job that needed to be done and not any fun at all. However, that changed when I decided to learn the art of creative gift wrapping.
On my birthday a couple of years ago I received a gift from a friend that was so beautifully wrapped that I was reluctant to open it. The presentation of this artfully wrapped gift showed how much care and thought had gone into it. I decided right then and there that I wanted to make the same statement to those receiving gifts from me. That gift was the inspiration that launched my exploration into the art of creative gift wrapping.
